Ce jour 11 Novembre 2024 est marqué par la signature d’un partenariat stratégique entre l’État centrafricain, représenté par le Ministre de l’Économie, du Plan et de la Coopération Internationale, Pr Richard FILAKOTA, et le Groupe Cambridge Industrie LTD, représenté par son Président Fondateur, M. Samuel ALEMAYEHUM. Ce partenariat vise à faire de la RCA un modèle régional de développement durable et d’innovation écologique. Ce partenariat s’inscrit dans la perspective du Plan National de Développement qui entend poser les bases de l’économie circulaire.
La cérémonie, qui s’est déroulée dans la Salle de Conférence Justine KAZANGBA en présence de plusieurs Ministères sectoriels, a pour but de formaliser un Accord de collaboration et d’établir les Principes de base d’un Projet de grande envergure autour du recyclage, de la transformation des déchets et de la production d’énergies renouvelables.
Le Ministre explique la stratégie du PND qui vise à transformer les défis environnementaux en opportunités économiques, tout en stimulant la création d’emplois et en valorisant les ressources locales.
L’accord vise plusieurs résultats concrets :
– Développer une infrastructure de recyclage moderne pour la gestion efficace des déchets.
– Stimuler la création d’une économie circulaire en favorisant la réutilisation et la valorisation des matériaux.
– Produire de l’énergie renouvelable pour réduire la dépendance aux énergies fossiles.
– Sensibiliser la population à l’importance de la protection de l’environnement.
– Positionner la RCA comme le premier Pays d’Afrique Centrale à adopter une politique ambitieuse en matière d’économie circulaire.
La RCA ambitionne par ce partenariat devenir une référence en matière de gestion écologique en Afrique Centrale. À moyen et long terme, le Pays pourrait attirer davantage d’investissements dans les secteurs verts et créer de nouvelles opportunités économiques pour les communautés locales, consolidant ainsi son rôle de leader régional dans les initiatives de développement durable. La coopération entre l’État centrafricain et Cambridge Industrie LTD ouvre également la voie à une augmentation de la résilience face aux défis climatiques, renforçant les capacités locales pour la transition écologique.
Pour le Pr. Richard FILAKOTA cet Accord marque une étape clé dans la vision de la RCA pour une transition écologique inclusive et innovante. En officialisant cette collaboration, l’État centrafricain réaffirme son engagement en faveur de l’environnement, de l’innovation technologique et du bien-être de sa population.
