Ce jour Mardi 1er Avril 2025, la Coordinatrice Régionale du Groupe de la Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD), Mme Marie Axelle TANOH représentante régionale de la BAD et le Représentant Résident de la BAD en Centrafrique, Mr Mamady SOUARE ont été reçus par le Ministre de l’Economie, du Plan et de la Coopération Internationale, Pr. Richard FILAKOTA.
Traditionnellement, la mission de la BAD consiste à contribuer au développement économique durable et au progrès social des pays africains. Mme TANOH séjourne à Bangui dans le cadre d’une mission d’évaluation et de renforcement du Partenariat économique avec la République Centrafricaine.
Cet exercice a lieu tous les Cinq ans afin de renforcer le dispositif institutionnel pour un partenariat économique adapté. Il a aussi été question d’échanges sur l’élaboration du document stratégique pays qui demeure l’outil catalyseur pour la mobilisation des ressources, la promotion d’investissement et l’assistance technique. Cet outil stratégique est un préalable et une priorité dans le processus de la mise en œuvre des projets et financements. Il s’agit d’évaluer les projets qui ont été financés par la BAD de concert avec les Directions tutorielles et autres institutions. Cette première phase importante permettra la préparation du document stratégique pays qui va couvrir les années 2025-2030.
Profitant de cette opportunité, le Pr. Richard FILAKOTA a salué la constante et fructueuse collaboration entre la République Centrafricaine et la BAD. Il a rappelé à ses augustes visiteurs la volonté du Président de la République, Chef de l’Etat, Pr. Faustin Archange TOUADERA de relever le défi majeur du développement économique de la RCA. Le Ministre a évoqué avec élégance le soutien financier et technique de la BAD pour la tenue de la table ronde du PND dans le courant des mois à venir.
MEPCI-RCA est une institution gouvernementale essentielle chargée de la gestion des affaires économiques, de la planification du développement, et de la coordination des relations internationales en matière de coopération et d’aide au développement.
