Bangui, le 3 Février 2026 —
Le Gouvernement de la République centrafricaine, avec l’appui financier du Groupe de la Banque Africaine de Développement (BAD), a procédé ce mardi à la remise officielle d’une pompe hydraulique à motricité humaine au Lycée Miskine, dans le 8ᵉ arrondissement de Bangui, une infrastructure destinée à améliorer durablement les conditions d’apprentissage et d’hygiène en milieu scolaire.
La cérémonie a été présidée personnellement par le Ministre de l’Économie, du Plan et de la Coopération internationale, Pr Richard FILAKOTA, Gouverneur du Groupe de la Banque Africaine de Développement en Centrafrique, aux côtés du Proviseur du Lycée Miskine, du Représentant du Coordonnateur du Programme d’Appui à la Reconstruction des Communautés de Base – Phase 2 (PARCB-2), des Responsables Administratifs, Educatifs et Communautaires, des Enseignants, ainsi que d’une forte mobilisation d’élèves, témoignant de l’importance de cette réalisation pour la communauté éducative.
Dans son mot de bienvenue, le Proviseur du Lycée Miskine a salué l’engagement du Gouvernement et de ses partenaires techniques et financiers, tout en exprimant la gratitude de l’ensemble du personnel éducatif et des élèves pour cette infrastructure essentielle, appelée à transformer positivement la vie scolaire au sein de l’établissement.
S’en est suivi le discours solennel du Ministre Pr Richard FILAKOTA, qui a rappelé que l’accès à l’eau potable dans un établissement scolaire n’est pas un luxe, mais un droit fondamental, un facteur déterminant de dignité humaine, de santé et de réussite éducative. Il a souligné que cette réalisation, financée par le Groupe de la Banque Africaine de Développement en Centrafrique et mise en œuvre par l’entreprise SIAD, illustre la volonté de l’État de traduire ses engagements en actions concrètes et visibles sur le terrain.
Le Ministre a replacé cette initiative dans le contexte global du redressement du système éducatif centrafricain, considéré comme un levier stratégique de la paix durable, de la cohésion sociale et du développement économique. Il a rappelé que cette action s’inscrit pleinement dans la vision du Président de la République, Chef de l’État, Son Excellence le Pr Faustin Archange TOUADÉRA, qui place l’enfant centrafricain et le renforcement du capital humain au cœur des politiques publiques de la 7ᵉ République.
La remise de cette pompe hydraulique intervient également dans un contexte national marqué par l’entrée en phase opérationnelle du Plan National de Développement de la République Centrafricaine (PND-RCA). Selon le Ministre, le PND-RCA constitue une véritable boussole de transformation structurelle, visant à faire des secteurs sociaux de base, notamment l’éducation et l’accès à l’eau potable, des priorités effectives de l’action publique.
La cérémonie a été ponctuée par la coupure symbolique du ruban, officialisant la remise de l’ouvrage à la communauté scolaire du Lycée Miskine, sous les applaudissements nourris des élèves et des invités.
S’adressant directement aux élèves, le Ministre Pr Richard FILAKOTA les a exhortés à faire un usage responsable et citoyen de cette infrastructure, à la protéger et à en faire un symbole de civisme, de solidarité et de respect des biens publics.
À travers cette réalisation, le Gouvernement, avec l’appui de ses partenaires dont le Groupe de la Banque Africaine de Développement, réaffirme sa détermination à réduire les inégalités d’accès aux services sociaux de base, à renforcer la résilience des communautés éducatives et à bâtir une République plus inclusive, équitable et tournée vers le développement durable.
MEPCI-RCA est une institution gouvernementale essentielle chargée de la gestion des affaires économiques, de la planification du développement, et de la coordination des relations internationales en matière de coopération et d’aide au développement.

Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids.
